I Made a $1000 Sale on the First Day of my Muse

A while ago, I started one of the too-many projects that I’m involved with.  I can’t handle these 30 hour weeks!  Anyway, as you might know, I am a big fan of the message that Tim Ferriss has be "gospelizing".  The one contention I had with it was that I think it might be tough for some people to create a Muse.  I know Internet Marketing more than probably 99% of the people who have pushed the book to #1 on the bestseller lists so if I struggle with it, it runs a bit hollow for everyone else.

It’s been an on-again, off again type of project.  I’d rather not spend much time working on it

So I finally just got something out there.  It’s far from complete or optimized but sometimes you just have to start it and fix things later.  So I started advertising last week and the next day I woke up and got an e-mail saying that a purchase of over $1,000 has been made!  Now, I have to pay a lot of that out to the supplier but that’s still a few hundred bucks in the first few hours of existence.

The real question is whether that was just a random "blip" or whether I can consistently get sales with the sites.  If it’s anywhere close to profitable, I will then maximize it and make a ton of money off of it.

It’s a good start so far.

A thousand dollar sale over night? That seems a bit much, but man that is just too awesome.

I really didn’t believe it when I saw it.

Now, just to put some perspective behind it - I only get about 30% of that, because the rest goes to shipping and the supplier. But $300 in the first few hours isn’t bad.
